Speaking of the same, Sanjay told ETimes, “There has been a lot of speculation about my exiting Kundali Bhagya over the past few months. It’s true that I had plans to quit the show in December but then I had a change of heart. The character Prithvi has gone through ups and downs, and I have exited and entered the show thrice in the past. Every time my character exited the show, I felt that it had a scope and there was still more I could contribute to it. However, now that the show is taking a leap, I have decided to exit. Over the years, I grew emotionally attached to the entire team of Kundali Bhagya.”

He is undergoing scripts and has a number of projects in the pipeline.
